Technical Support Representative II
job description
The primary responsibilities will be answering and responding to telephone and email inquiries for technical support, promoting products and services, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This also includes troubleshooting, documenting, tracking and monitoring customer issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Other responsibilities include customer training, providing periodic reports to management, maintaining up-to-date sources of reference and technical manuals to provide current and accurate information, contributing to knowledge base/FAQ’s, external and internal documentation, and participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 emergency support to the Virtual PBX client base.
required experience:
  • 3-5 years experience in support/help desk role
  • Fluent English, including excellent written (grammar and spelling) and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • 40+ wpm
  • Punctual and reliable and possessing a strong work ethic
  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment a must!
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to be a dynamic team member
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical and time management skills
  • Previous telecommunications experience a plus!
